I founded The Women's Collective after several years of living in isolation about my own HIV diagnosis. I committed myself to finding, supporting and organizing women with HIV/AIDS. It has been a wonderful journey yet also contains the memories and pain from losing many sisters along the way to this disease. Each day I recommit myself to this struggle and am energized by the work weve accomplished together, the direction we hope to go together and most importantly from the hope in the eyes of the women and families we see in our office.
