Providing HIV Test & Link to Care Services in the Community

Thursday, January 16, 2014

outreachWe are on the go and out in the community providing HIV test and link to care services in 2014!

TWC is committed to bringing our high quality, free HIV test and link to care services to the community as now more than ever DC residents need to know their HIV status in order to protect their health. We are doing this in three ways:

(1) We are linking with collaborative partners in the community to provide our services at their sites. This enables partners the ability to offer these free services to their program participants. Partners include La Casa Transitional Center, DC General Methadone Clinic, Thrive DC, John L. Young Center, District Alliance for Stafe Housing (DASH), and Bread for the City.

(2) We are also taking our mobile van out on the streets in order to provide services directly in the community where people live and work.

(3) Providing these services onsite at our agency 5-days a week from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. No appointment is necessary.

Check out our events calendar to find out where we are!

If you are a provider, and wish to collaborate please call June Polydore, HIV Test and Link to Care Program Coordinator at 202.483.7003.
